It is a real pleasure this week to be able to announce our new Monitor team in Pimlico as follows:
Head of Pimlico House: Danielle D
Deputy Head of Pimlico: Jasmine M
Monitors: Nina B, Kristýna K
House Monitor: Bernice Y

We heartily congratulate all these girls. They have consistently displayed the values we look to nurture in our pupils and have, in addition, thrown themselves into many areas of school and house life. They also bring their unique skills to Pimlico and, between them, will inspire the diverse community of girls, both from the UK and overseas, that constitutes our House. I am certainly looking forward to working with them and know they have exciting plans for Pimlico!
However, it would be entirely remiss of me not to thank the outgoing team of: Georgia M (former Head of House), Bel C (former Deputy Head of House), Hannah R, Anna B, Sophie S (former Joint Head of School) and Nico (former House monitor). Reliable, positive, supportive and fun to spend time with, this has been a fantastic group of monitors: I have nothing but praise for them and happy memories of time spent with them. Thank you.
Sadly, yet inevitably, with any selection process, some girls last week were left disappointed. I hope they feel reassured that they are still very much recognised for their individual strengths and talents and that there are other worthy avenues, within and out of school, through which their qualities can be useful and valued.
Well done this week to Francesca W for her excellent delivery of her Marsden Speech in chapel, on Wednesday. Francesca not only wrote for and delivered this compelling speech in the competition, but she has mastered oratory skills which extend to a whole school audience as well. I am impressed! As I write, I look forward to seeing many of our girls receive their well-deserved prizes at Speech Day. The breadth of awards presented will reflect the remarkable diversity of talent within these walls, but, more importantly, will stand as a testament to the dedication, determination, and discipline shown by each recipient. Congratulations to them all.
I hope that every member of the Pimlico community enjoys a happy, restful, and productive half-term holiday.
