VIRTUAL TOUR

Durham Curriculum

Finding a School that matches those aspirations — one that nurtures and encourages, offers the widest possible opportunities for academic success, enables pupils to engage in a vibrant array of co-curricular activities and thought-provoking societies, and delivers all of this in a nurturing and resilient environment,  is no easy task.

Take a look at what our pupils achieved in 2024-2025:

How do we achieve this without being highly selective?

The teaching staff at Durham School are highly qualified and excellent classroom practitioners. They are committed to helping pupils be the very best they can be, and many provide additional lunchtime clinics where pupils can access help outside the classroom in a relaxed environment.

Class sizes are small, allowing pupils to benefit from more personalised teaching, to have their voices and opinions heard, and to be closely supported as their teachers monitor their progress.
