The role of a school monitor is an important one within Durham School. Monitors play a key part in supporting younger pupils, helping to create a welcoming environment and acting as positive role models throughout the School community. Whether offering guidance, encouragement or simply being a friendly face to turn to, they help ensure every pupil feels supported and valued.

As ambassadors for the School, our monitors demonstrate the values and spirit of Durham School each day through their kindness, responsibility and leadership. We look forward to seeing the enthusiasm and dedication they will bring to their roles over the coming year and are confident they will make a positive impact across the School community.

Congratulations once again to all of our 2026/27 School Monitors.
