Pre-School and Pre-Prep Weekly Blog

Our EYFS children have been continuing with their theme of ‘Treasures of the North East’ and this week they were learning about the Romans and Hadrian’s Wall.  They had a ‘guest speaker’ as Mr Headdock, our Head of History, came to talk to them about the Romans.  The children then had fun on a ‘Roman March’ and even built their own wall! Reception class had measured each other in September by drawing around themselves. They did the same this week and were amazed by how much they have grown! In PE Year 1 and Year 2 have been preparing for Sports Day.  Year 2 have been practising throwing the tennis ball and doing the long jump.  Everyone is really looking forward to Sports Day next week!

A message for families affected by the closure of Durham High School

We understand that this will be a difficult and uncertain time for many Durham High School pupils, families and staff as they consider the next steps for their education and future.

If your family has been affected and you would like to discuss the options available, our Admissions Team is here to offer guidance, answer your questions and provide support in a confidential and compassionate manner.

Whether you are seeking information about places, transition arrangements, transport, scholarships, bursaries or simply wish to talk through your circumstances, we would be pleased to help.
