A Durham School team of six Year 13 Economics students took part in the UK round of the World Economics Cup 2022. The results have been published and they came joint fourth in the UK! The top 5 schools were:
1 Harrow School 97%
2= Reading Blue Coat School 96%
2= St Paul’s School 96%
4= Durham School 95%
4= The King’s School, Chester 95%
This placed us above St Paul’s Girls’ School, Headington School, Millfield School, and Clifton College to name a few!
Unfortunately, only the top two teams qualify to represent the UK at the final, but we were only one percentage point away from it!
