This weekend, Chorister School and Durham School welcomed their new pupils to DCSF with a weekend barbeque for them and their parents.
Our Friends of DCSF year group representatives were on hand to answer any and all questions from our guests about the start of term, and staff were available to introduce themselves ahead of the start of term.
It was great to see pupils getting along already, putting them in great stead for everyone coming together for the academic year 2022-23.
Many thanks go to the Friends for hosting the event, and to the staff for making themselves available to welcome the new starters to the DCSF community.
Their induction continues this week, with move-in day for ours boarding pupils, tours of the site by our School Monitors, and introductions to the various House and teaching staff before the whole school comes together on the 6th September.
