Belonging & Heritage
“600 Years of Learning, Rooted in Durham Cathedral”
Founded in 1414, DCSF is one of the oldest schools in the UK. From choral tradition to Royal Charter heritage, students thrive in a place steeped in history yet alive with innovation.
Values-Based Education
“Character. Confidence. Compassion.”
Our MARK values (Moral Integrity, Ambition, Responsibility, Kindness) are the foundation of everyday school life—preparing young people to lead with strength and purpose.
Holistic Development & Co-Curricular ‘And’
“Where You Can Be More Than One Thing”
Whether on the rugby pitch or in the orchestra, DCSF students explore passions and build life skills—without compromising academic achievement.
Inclusive & Global Community
“A Warm Welcome for All”
With students from over 28 nationalities and an exceptional pastoral system, we embrace diversity and ensure every pupil feels at home.
Academic, Sporting & Arts Excellence
“Excellence Without Exception”
Our rigorous curriculum inspires academic success—91% A*-C at A-level in 2024—with equal passion poured into sport, music, drama, and STEM.
