Our Stay and Play Sessions give you the chance to experience the fantastic facilities and caring, friendly, fun environment, as well as meet other parents and chat to our wonderful EYFS team.

Designed to give you a taste of life at Chorister School, these sessions offer an opportunity for children to engage with the EYFS staff and children whilst creating, playing and hearing stories. We also encourage parents/guardians to take this opportunity to ask any questions they may have.

Sessions run from 9.15 am to 10.45 am, and include fun activities based around a child friendly book each week, along with free play, snack and story time!

  • Stay and Play – Friday 20 March 2026
  • Stay and Play – Friday 19 June 2026
  • Year 1 and 2 Forest School – Date TBC

Child must be accompanied by an adult (max 1 adult/child).

Why is it called Stay and Play?

It is called Stay and Play because the initiative offers children the ability to play and experience the exciting, welcoming day-to-day, while parent/guardians supervise and chat with staff about any questions they may have. It gives children a chance to see if they feel like they would like to join our wonderful EYFS community, while it is essential that parents stay for these sessions!
