Durham Chorister School is seeking to appoint an Admissions Officer to work as part of its Admissions and Marketing team. As a first point of contact for prospective parents, a warm, professional, energetic and helpful personality is necessary to ensure that all enquirers receive a first-class service.

Line Management: Responsible to the Director of Admissions and Marketing.

Hours: 18.5 hours a week with working days to be discussed. Occasional weekend work will be required and flexibility will both be required and given.

Based at the historic Chorister School site in the heart of Durham City, staff also benefit from free onsite parking, exemption from the Durham Congestion Charge & also lunch provision with a selection of hot and cold meals provided daily.

Salary: The salary for the post will be £23,874.52 FTE on the support staff scale, pro-rated for part time working. Incremental rises on the scale will be available annually, subject to satisfactory performance appraisal.

Annual Leave (pro-rata) 25 days paid holiday (increasing annually to 30 days after 5 years’ service) + 8 public holidays + 3 days efficiency closure at Christmas
